Sue’s expertise has put the biggest smile
on my face. I love coming home to my
beautiful room-the lighting, the decorative
pieces placed perfectly, and the new
placement of my furniture-is breathtaking
and I just love looking around at my
gorgeous room now!! Her time and endless
efforts is very much appreciated and I can’t
wait for Sue to come back to my home to
discuss paint color and window treatments.
Sue Thomas is a delight and an expert in her
field of redesign and I can’t wait to work
with her again in the near future.

Sue
Thomas:
The Room Whisperer
Sue Thomas is the founder,
principal designer, and visionary behind Room Whispers
Redesign.
Throughout her 20 years of interior decorating,
Sue has worked in high-end homes, with residential community
developers, and with custom home builders, but her specialty
has always been working with what people already own and
redesigning their living spaces. The strength behind Sue’s
work is in her talent for blending her knowledge of design
principles, lighting, color, texture, and form, with her
clients’ needs. The finished products are magazine beautiful
yet comfortable living spaces that reflect her clients’
style while meeting their needs and exceeding their
expectations.
Room Whispers Redesign
was born when Sue combined her passion for helping others
with her passion for redesign. As a Certified Redesigner and
Certified Real Estate Stager, Sue saw the combination of
redesign and residents of Active Adult and Retirement
Communities as a natural fit. Today, Sue has taken
Room Whispers Redesign to
the next level by offering a
comprehensive set of services
to help older adults make a smooth transition into their
beautiful new retirement community home.
Sue’s work in commercial decorating
led her to develop a niche as a restaurant marketing
strategist. Combining her design skills with her
marketing savvy, Sue crafted a theme for each restaurant.
She developed those themes into unique images through logo
design, creative menu styling, promotional materials,
interior decorating, event planning, and building
relationships between the restaurants and local charities.
Early in her career, Sue followed
her interest in health and nutrition into the fitness
field where she became Certified Personal Trainer and
Director of Fitness at a major fitness chain. Sue’s work as
a CPT was her introduction to working with seniors;
something she knew would always be part of her life.
Sue is the founder of
Redesign for Retirement Living
™, a Certified Redesigner and Certified Real Estate
Stager. She is an active member of the
Society of Decorating
Professionals,
the
One Day Decorating Alumni Association,
and the
National Association Of Senior Move
Managers.
